While the Season 3 finale included a post-credits scene, Episode 7 of Season 4 contains no such sequence, although sick fans can still handle a glimpse of what will appear in those two episodes. Weird things Season 4 – Volume 2 will be released for the first time on July 1st.
After the credits appear in Episode 7, all the way to the end of the dubbing credits, a prompt appears from Netflix confirming that the preview will begin in 10 seconds. For those who are impatient, you can click to start the preview right away, which begins with a 30-second teaser. The teaser doesn’t offer much insight into those final episodes, and really embraces the title of “teaser.” We’ve got a variety of ominous images and the spooky sound of Vecna, leaving fans wondering how the season will turn out. With Episode 7 bringing with it some major fallout, you’ll feel like you’ve waited so long to see how this season ends.
The season was described, “It’s been six months since the Battle of Starcourt, which has brought horror and destruction to Hawkins. Faced with the consequences, our group of friends has broken up for the first time—and navigating the intricacies of high school has never been so difficult. He made things easier. At this most vulnerable time , a new and terrifying supernatural threat emerges, presenting a horrific mystery that, if solved, could put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down game.”
Season 4, both volumes, is already the biggest season yet. While it contains nine episodes, much like Season 2, each episode comes in at over 70 minutes, with Episode 7 clocking in at 98 minutes. The two episodes of Volume 2 will have a combined runtime of four hours, confirming that this season has given us more minutes of story than all previous seasons.
